The Role

Are you ready to step into a pivotal leadership role where no two days are the same? This is a fantastic opportunity to take charge of property management and building services operations across Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory – with a strong focus on driving efficiency, delivering excellent service, and making a tangible impact.

Reporting to the Head Facilities Management, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing operational property plans for WA/SA/NT.
  • Leading the day-to-day management of the WA/SA/NT property team and site portfolio overseeing all building operations, contract services and engineering maintenance.
  • Providing strategic advice relating to long and short term property strategies and solutions for WA/SA/NT.
  • Managing the planning and implementation of property projects/change initiatives.
  • Managing resources and budgets in line with the ABC’s finance and procurement procedures.

You’re an experienced property professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality building services. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you’re confident leading teams, managing complex projects, and building positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

To succeed, you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in facilities or property management.
  • A strong track record managing a variety of building types – from small-scale to highly complex and tech-driven.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a supportive and motivating approach.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with a laser-sharp customer focus.
  • Advanced financial acumen and experience managing substantial budgets and benchmarking processes.
  • Proven ability to analyse, report, and strategise through detailed technical and operational reporting.
