The Role
Kalgoorlie-Boulder is mostly known for being a mining town – but it’s so much more. It’s a welcoming, vibrant and resilient regional city with a quirky (and sometimes unbelievable) history! There are plenty of shops, pubs, sporting facilities and community groups so you’ll never be bored.

Working as part of our team, and under routine direction of the Editor, you will:
- Create content for multiple platforms to engage local and national audiences.
- Contribute to planning and commissioning processes to develop and distribute new content ideas to achieve strong reach and engagement with audiences.
- Provide in-studio production support and mange talk back callers and guests.

About You
Do you have good editorial instincts, with experience in crafting stories that set the next day's agenda? To be successful in this role, you will be on your way to:
- Developing and making original and engaging audio and cross platform content for a diverse audience.
- Proficient editorial skills including the ability to source and analyse information and exercise reliable judgement.
- An understanding of the issues that affect and interest the local audience.
You will also need to possess a current and valid Driver’s Licence
