The Role

The ABC is looking for a Media Specialist to manage and promote the discovery of ABC content, products, and services to new and existing audiences through effective media campaign delivery. This role sits within the Media Strategy & Operations team, working on a wide range of ABC products & content across screen, audio and digital. 

The Job

  • Manage moderately complex paid and owned digital media campaigns aligned with marketing priorities.
  • Activate and optimise campaigns across multiple platforms using best practices for effective outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to develop testing strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Draw insights from various data sources to optimise activities across channels.
  • Support media planners with external media plans and bookings and manage weekly reporting cadence.
  • Coordinate team invoicing, financial tracking, and process development to ensure resource efficiency.

About You

You are a Media Specialist with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience in broadcast media and/or relevant industry (ie Media Agency).

You'll also have: 

  • Advanced computer skills with experience in campaign planning tool Google Marketing Suite (including DV360, CM360, SA360), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and MS Office.
  • Proven experience in implementing and optimising marketing campaigns across broadcast and digital channels (including platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube & LinkedIn).
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Microsoft Excel for efficient and accurate insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and meet deadlines.
